Try it on First

To be honest, when I first smelled the solid of this fragrance I was unimpressed. It didn't smell like oranges to me, so I was a bit confused about the name. BUT after I tried it on my skin the smell completely changes! It becomes sweeter and smells more like the name would suggest. I would definitely try it on before you make a decision about it.

I don't particularly smell raspberries or strawberries exactly, but I do smell an extra sweetness that is not oranges. This one doesn't smell super citrous-y to me. It starts more as a bitter orange, then dries down to a sweet orange smell. My friend has the roll-on and it smells brighter and more citrous-y. Overall, really nice. The solids don't stay too long which is why I docked a point, but I don't mind re-applying them. I love to layer this scent too, particularly with California Star Jasmine because it has orange notes in it. Yum.
