Brook's Notes

There are stories of clove as a once coveted aphrodisiac. Its production was monopolized and many legends tell of men risking their lives, as they would for love or gold, for the seed of the clove. Inspired by the passion that clove provoked and following centuries of Arabic perfume tradition, where the clove ruled, I perfumed this fragrance as a nod to the men in my life. (The funny thing is, it is one of the fragrances that I wear the most this time of year!)
