We travel to Hawaii often.  While it may seem cliche, it is really one of my
favorite places in the world. We are especially fond of Haleiwa on the
North Shore of Oahu.  And when we are there, we always love to eat lunch
at the Grass Skirt Grill.  The plate lunch is huge (yet I manage to eat every
last bite).  I always order the fish of the day with their killer, fragrant
creamy basil sauce, brown rice, organic greens grown on the island
with the best poppyseed dressing I have ever had.

For dinner, our go-to-place is Haleiwa Eats - serving up some of the best
Thai food I have had in the States.  I crave the papaya and ginger salad.  
Plus, if it is during the winter and the surf is up, or if it is contest time, this
is a good place to spot pro-surfers.  I know I might sound star struck, but
a Kelly Slater sighting is always welcome in my world!
